Terms and Conditions

Version 1.0 · Draft · Last updated 2026-06-08

1. Application

These Terms and Conditions govern use of Credon's SaaS platform and related services by legal entities.

By registering, accessing, or using the service, the customer accepts these terms and any referenced appendices.

2. Service description

Credon provides digital workflows and decision support for AML-related operations including KYC, KYB, risk assessment, screening, and documentation.

The service is intended as operational support and does not replace legal or regulatory judgment by the customer.

3. Eligibility and authority

The service is offered to companies, organizations, and other legal entities.

The person accepting these terms confirms they are authorized to bind the customer entity.

4. Customer responsibilities

The customer remains solely responsible for:

  • compliance with applicable AML, data protection, accounting, and industry requirements
  • lawful basis and legitimate purpose for checks and data processing
  • decisions, assessments, and reporting to authorities
  • quality, lawfulness, and relevance of uploaded or generated customer data
  • user permissions, account security, and internal governance

5. User accounts and access

The customer manages user access rights and must promptly notify Credon of suspected unauthorized access.

Credon may suspend or limit access where necessary for security, legal compliance, or material breach handling.

6. Acceptable use

The customer may use the service only for internal business purposes.

The customer must not misuse, reverse engineer, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to the platform or related infrastructure.

7. External data and AI-generated outputs

The service may present information from third-party data sources and AI-assisted outputs.

Such outputs are provided as support content and must be reviewed by the customer before use in any decision process.

8. Commercial terms

Pricing, included volumes, support level, and overuse handling are defined in the selected plan and applicable appendix.

Unless otherwise agreed, prices are stated excluding VAT and other applicable taxes.

9. Payment and late payment

Invoices are payable according to the terms stated in the customer agreement or order confirmation.

Credon may apply statutory default interest and may limit access for materially overdue payments.

10. Intellectual property

Credon and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the service, software, and related materials.

The customer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the subscription term.

11. Confidentiality

Each party must protect confidential information received from the other party and use it only for purposes related to the agreement.

Confidentiality obligations survive termination for a reasonable period or as required by law.

12. Warranties and disclaimers

The service is provided as is and as available.

To the extent permitted by law, Credon disclaims implied warranties including uninterrupted availability, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.

13. Limitation of liability

Credon is liable only for direct damages caused by proven negligence and only up to the agreed liability cap in the applicable commercial terms.

Credon is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, regulatory penalties, or losses caused by third-party data inaccuracies or customer misuse.

14. Term, termination, and changes

The agreement term, notice periods, and termination rights are defined in the selected plan and order confirmation.

Credon may update these terms for legal, operational, or product reasons. Material adverse changes are communicated in advance.

15. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Swedish law unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

Disputes are first handled through good-faith negotiation and, if unresolved, submitted to competent Swedish courts.
